In celebration of Easter, let’s do something sacrificial for someone else by taking the ‘3 Blessing Challenge’. During the month of April, ‘bless’ 3 people. You can ‘bless’ people in 3 ways:

1. WORDS - Examples are: Write a note of encouragement, call a friend you haven’t spoken with in a while, tell someone in your family how much they mean to you.

2. ACTIONS – Examples are: Babysit for a busy couple with kids, mow your neighbor’s lawn, make dinner for your mom.

3. GIFTS – Examples are: Buy flowers for a single mom, pay for the order of the person behind you in the drive through, put together a goodie basket for a teacher.

Let’s go ‘viral’ with this challenge and share what we’ve done with one another. Why share? To inspire, to connect and to show what God can do through us. How to share: 

• Post a story of how you blessed people on your city feed on the City Lights Mobile app. 

• Post It notes will be available at the West kiosk in the SouthBrook atrium. Stop by and write how you blessed someone on a post-it note and stick it to the kiosk. Let’s cover our kiosk with blessings! Can’t get to church, email beth.mathews@southbrook.org and we’ll add it for you.
