In the Summer several of the children at Chevy Chase Apartments in Centerville are home alone during the day while their parent/guardian works. This is especially true for the older age group because they age out of childcare after the age of 12. In addition, many of the children that have aged out of childcare are at home watching their younger siblings for the Summer.
SOUTHBROOK CITY LIGHTS is putting on a Summer Camp called "Summer Fun Days" at Chevy Chase Apartments July 15th-19th, 2024 from 11:00-2:00pm. We are excited to engage and build relationships with these children, provide a hot lunch and lots of fun activities! This year our theme is the "Summer Olympics in Paris 2024".
